Our trip to Foley continued to surprise us, and one of the most unexpected highlights was our stop at The Hotel Magnolia. Even though we weren’t staying as guests, the kindness of the staff truly exemplified that world-class Southern hospitality we’d been experiencing all day. A lovely lady at the hotel was kind enough to give us a full tour of the historic property, and "astounding" is the only word that does it justice. Historic Elegance and Holiday Magic. Walking through the doors felt like stepping back into 1908, but with a festive, magical twist. The attention to detail in the restoration is incredible, but during our visit, it was the Christmas decor that stole the show. The Chandeliers: They were absolutely breathtaking. The way the crystal caught the holiday lights created a glow that filled the entire lobby and ballrooms. The Wrought Iron Fence: Even before you walk in, the exterior sets the stage. The custom ironwork is legendary in Foley, and seeing it framed by holiday greenery made the entrance feel so regal. The Decor: Every corner was thoughtfully decorated. It wasn't just a few trees; it was a cohesive, elegant display that complemented the Victorian architecture perfectly. A Suite Fit for Royalty The highlight of the tour was when she showed us one of the guest rooms. It was truly fit for a king. Between the plush, premium bedding, the antique furnishings it was easy to see why this is considered the crown jewel of Foley’s historic district. Each room has its own personality, but the level of luxury and cleanliness was world-class. Even as non-guests, we were treated with such warmth and respect. It’s clear that the people who run The Hotel Magnolia don't just see it as a business, but as a historic treasure they are proud to share with anyone who walks through the door.

We just left this restaurant, we ate there for our 41 st anniversary dinner, let me tell you something, there is no disappointment everything from the waitress Lulu to the fried shrimp and oysters , Fillet mignon creamed spinach, the service, And of course as always the Lovely Lady who owns it Diane we loved everything !!! This was last years post that I accidentally reposted but we just ate there again this year for our 52nd Anniversary and just as Great as last year Our Waitress Amanda, the food Music Atmosphere Love it

The entire experience was exquisite! The best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had in my life along with the complimentary breakfast. The staff is so welcoming from the moment you walk in it feels like a movie. It is very clean and I could not recommend this place more!

Only went to restaurant, got blackened bourbon/maple salmon and felt royally treated, server, Mason, was courteous, polite and professional. The atmosphere was fantastic and very relaxed. Had a window by the beautiful courtyard pool. The food was "eyes roll back in your head" delicious especially the fried beignet stuffed with peaches and cream filling for dessert. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for atmosphere, service, and food. Since all 3 of these are 5 star, confident to say hotel would make a very pleasant memory also.
